Part 3. RFID

Inlays

Inlays are available in all shapes, sizes and frequencies, with the frequencies for UHF generally separated into the EU (865-867MHz) or US (902-928MHz) ranges. An RFID inlay is assembled using three key components, all of which are engineered to work together for specific applications. The three components are the "chip" or IC (integrated circuit), the antenna and the face-stock or carrier which the antenna and IC are attached to. If the inlay is provided in a self-adhesive format, it is referred to as a "wet" inlay. Where there is no self adhesive surface, the inlay is referred to as being "dry".

Point of Difference:

We only use and supply inlays which have been thoroughly tested and performance verified, whether they are manufactured from the world's leading inlay suppliers, or from emerging experts in niche applications. The selection of the correct inlay is critical for each specific application and environment.

Frequency - UHF, HF, NFC

An extensive range of inlay designs for performance in the UHF, HF/ NFC frequency bands are available from leading manufacturers. They can be found in a wide range of industries such as apparel, beauty & personal care, FMCG, automotive, aviation, pharmaceuticals & healthcare, transport & logistics, manufacturing and many more.

Point of Difference:

Through our many years of experience, we have developed both a strong knowledge of the most suitable inlays for any particular application, while also developing our own in-house testing and validation processes to ensure only the highest quality inlays are used.
